My Take: A huge earthquake and a tsunami can do a lot of damage…yes, that might be an understatement. As Japan recovers from one of their largest natural disasters on record, they will require a significant amount of timber to rebuild. Timber has been out of favor since the house market went bust around 07-08, yet with Japan and the re-emergence of many countries around the world, growth may spur demand in the not too distant future.
